What comes with my canvas?

Unless otherwise noted, physical canvas purchases include the needlepoint canvas only. Threads, finishing materials, stitch guides, and accessories are sold separately unless specifically stated in the product description.

Are your canvases hand painted?

Josie Girl Studio offers both hand-painted and professionally printed needlepoint canvases. Every design begins as original Josie Girl Studio artwork, and the production method will always be clearly listed on the individual product page.

What mesh sizes do you offer?

Our physical needlepoint canvases are offered on 13-count and 18-count Zweigart mono canvas. The mesh count for each design is always listed in the product description.

Do you offer digital charts?

Yes! Due to the availability and production challenges currently affecting the needlepoint industry, we're excited to offer many Josie Girl Studio designs as digital charts, giving you another way to start stitching without waiting for physical inventory.

Digital charts are delivered electronically and are for personal use only. They may not be reproduced, shared, resold, redistributed, or used to create products for resale.

What's the difference between a digital chart and a physical canvas?

A physical canvas arrives ready to stitch with the design painted or printed directly onto needlepoint mesh. A digital chart is a downloadable pattern that allows you to follow the design from a chart and does not include a physical canvas, threads, or other supplies.

Please read the product title and description carefully before purchasing to make sure you're selecting the format you want.

Tell me about your accessories.

Many of our accessories are custom made especially for Josie Girl Studio and may be produced in small quantities. Because of this, some styles may sell out and may not always be restocked.

What is the Asha Project?

We're proud to carry select products connected to Asha, a nonprofit initiative supporting women artisans in India through meaningful work and economic opportunity.

Purchasing these pieces allows us to offer something beautiful for your stitching collection while supporting the women and communities behind them.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

All Josie Girl Studio sales are final. Please review product descriptions, dimensions, mesh counts, and digital/physical product formats carefully before purchasing.

If you receive an incorrect item or your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can help.

What if my package is lost in transit?

Once a package has been accepted and scanned by USPS, Josie Girl Studio is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered while in the carrier's possession.

If your tracking shows an issue with delivery, please contact USPS directly to begin a missing-mail search or file a claim. We're always happy to provide any order or shipment information you may need for your claim.

How quickly will my order ship?

Most in-stock physical orders ship within 3–5 business days. Processing times may be longer during launches, holidays, or high-volume periods.

Preorder items will have their estimated shipping timeframe clearly listed on the product page.

Do you offer preorders?

Yes! Select designs and collections may be available for preorder. Estimated production and shipping timeframes will always be listed on the product page.

If you'd like to purchase both in-stock and preorder items, we recommend placing separate orders. This allows us to ship your in-stock items right away.

If in-stock and preorder items are purchased together in the same order, the entire order will be held and shipped once all preorder items have arrived and are ready to ship.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship within the United States only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future!

Will you be releasing more Passport Pals?

Absolutely! Passport Pals is an ongoing collection celebrating cultures, traditions, and people from around the world. New pals will continue joining the collection.

Can I request a custom design?

We're not currently accepting custom commissions, but we always love hearing what you'd like to see from Josie Girl Studio. Your ideas may inspire future collections!

I'm new to needlepoint. Where should I start?

Welcome! 13-count mesh and designs with larger areas of color can be a great place for newer stitchers to begin. Be sure to check the mesh count and design details on each listing to find something you're comfortable stitching.

Do you sell wholesale?
